When you're setting up an e2® sway control hitch, one of the most important things to pay attention to is hitch ball height- you want to make sure it is set correctly.Otherwise, it makes getting good weight distribution a lot harder than it needs to be. Problem is that e2 hitch frame brackets are designed for frames that measure full inches (for example, a 5" frame). If you use the standard bracket on your 4 3/8" frame, there will be a gap. A gap is no good because it causes bracket slippage. You can purchase special brackets (see below) that are designed to be used on 4 3/8" tall frames.
